Bega Cheese is an Australian owned and operated cheese company located in the beautiful Bega Valley, on the south coast of New South Wales. The company was founded as a dairy co-operative in 1899, and many of the current owners of Bega Cheese are the 100 plus dairy farmers.
Bega Cheese is a truly Australian company, employing over 500 staff in the Bega Valley. Around 20% of overall production is exported to over 50 countries around the world.

Bega Cheese’s processing and packaging unit produces 50,000 tonnes of value-added cheese products including cheddar cheese retail packs and processed cheese products as well as individually wrapped slices and slice on slice products for food service outlets.
